What is a Dietitian?

Let's Meet
Let's Meet

The title "Dietitian" is a protected term, much like "Doctor." Dietitians are licensed professionals trained to provide expert advice on nutrition and wellness, including managing food-related issues and supporting those with illnesses or medical conditions.

In contrast, anyone can call themselves a "Nutritionist," from influencers and wellness gurus to your Uncle Bob. While some certification programs for nutritionists are excellent, becoming a Dietitian involves rigorous education and training, ensuring you're in the safest hands.

What Sets Us Apart:

We are regulated by healthcare counsels' with rigorous education requirements. The tight regulation allows us to provide a higher standard of care.

  • Graduate with a Masters in Nutrition

  • Complete a year long standard of care supervised practice.

    • Complete the national exam

  • Continually complete professional educational requirements to maintain a license.

A Dietitian is a qualified health professional with continuing study requirements, meaning they are able to assess and assist you using the most up-to-date research and knowledge.

This high standard of training ensures Dietitians provide evidence-based, up-to-date advice tailored to your unique needs. Whether in hospitals, private practices, or even tech, Dietitians use tools like health apps, blood work, and microbiome analysis to create personalized plans and help you reach your goals.

Our reach extends from hospitals, private practices, and other medical facilities to the tech industry, where we can relay health information through apps or analyze the insights from your health devices (think Oura / Apple Watch, etc). The more information I can review, such as your blood work, gut microbiome, or any other insights, the more I can personalize your health outcomes.

As a licensed Dietitian, I provide expert, personalized nutrition advice based on the latest research and tailored to your unique needs. Whether you're looking to improve your overall well-being or want clarity in the overwhelming world of nutrition, I can support you every step of the way. Nutrition is a life-long practice where each meal is an opportunity to improve your quality of life.

Don't leave your health to guesswork—work with a professional who understands the science behind nutrition. Reach out today, and let's create a plan that works for you!
